“True faith or not, only God knows❓”

Those that have true faith are also clear.

During the Bible studies on zoom, a church sister shared her view.

Church sister said, “My son had pronounced his faith and got baptised. Later, he said he no longer have faith in the Lord. He’s no longer a Christian. He’s an atheist. I’m really puzzled. Does he know whether or not he has faith in Christ?”

A church brother gave response.

Church brother said, “Frankly, whether or not we have true faith in Christ, only God knows. It often happens that even the one that proclaims his faith in Christ isn’t that clear about whether his own faith is true or not.

The conversation went on.

……

Another me said, “Turn your mic on, now.”

I said, “They haven’t finished. Shall we show them some respect?”

Another me said, “Alright, turn it on the moment they finish talking.”

I said, “Why in such a hurry? Whoever turns on the mic the fastest will be awarded one more consumption voucher?”

Another me said, “Didn’t you hear what the church brother said?”

I said, “What did he say?”

Another me said, “He said, It often happens that even the one that proclaims his faith in Christ isn’t that clear about whether his own faith is true or not.”

I said, “What’s wrong with that?”

Another me said, “Do you have faith in the Lord now?”

I said, “Yes, I do.”

Another me said, “Are you clear about your faith now?”

I said, “Clear.”

Another me said, “How can you be that clear? Because you’ve got baptised, like the son of the church sister?”

I said, “I declare with my mouth, “Jesus is Lord,”and believe in my heart that God raised him from the dead.”

Another me said, “Come on, any that knows how to read can read it aloud.”

I said, “The difference in how my family looks like before and after my commitment to the Lord, can’t you see it?”

Another me said, “How you family looked like before was something back to the years of Shakespeare. How could I recall?”

I said, “The difference in how I myself look like, before and after my commitment to the Lord, can’t you see it either?”

Another me said, “How you yourself looked like was somebody not much younger than our father of harmony, Johann Sebastian Bach. Shall you go back to 2021?”

I said, “Can you read?”

Another me said, “Ridiculous. I’ve got a Master Degree in Translation. I showed so many to the world of language conversion. How can I teach that without even the ability to read?”

I said, “Under a broken relationship before my commitment to Christ, I was not aware of His presence in my daily life. Since my commitment to Christ, I share my daily walk with Him together with all of you every week. This week’s reflection, can you read it, Master in Translation?”

Another me said, “Yes, I do.”

I said, “Clear?”

Another me said, “Yes.”

I said, “Even you are that clear about it. Why on earth am I myself not clear about whether my faith in true or not?”

Another me said, “Now that you’re crystal clear, why don’t you turn the mic on?”

……

I turned my mic on.

I said, “Concerning faith, I share a view that is the same as what the church brother has just given.”

I said, “I also trust God is clear about my faith in Him.”

I said, “Concerning faith, I have experience that is different from what the church brother has just shared.”

I said, “When I got baptised, I used to believe that I had faith in the Lord. Later when I was introduced to what true faith is in the Bible, I knew I hadn’t had any true faith in the Lord. I was deceiving myself and the people around me. Upon my confession, many things happened to me. This time, I truly repented and sincerely committed myself to Christ. Since then, I am clear that I have true faith in the Lord. Now, I have every faith in the Lord that any moment when I leave the earth, I’ll be in heaven.”
