“When something bad happens onto me, is the Lord still keeping me❓”

If I stay indulged in my bad happenings, I may not have followed Him onto the way.”

I said, “Pei Pei.”

Pei Pei leapt forward. I tied the god leash and got ready for the morning walk outside.

I said, “Let’s go.”

Pei Pei stepped forward. The moment that I opened the door, I heard a scream from Dad, who was lying on the mattress placed on the floor.

Dad said, “Yip Wai Hung.”

I turned around and found Dad lying in the mattress and Tung Tung standing right beside him.

I said, “What’s up?”

Dad said, “Tung Tung is going to throw up. Take him to the sandbox.”

I fell into a daze.

Dad said, “Why are you in a daze?”

Dad got up. When he was grasping Tung Tung, he threw up onto his mattress.”

Dad said, “Why didn’t you move upon my call?”

I said, “I think I’m not fully awake.”

Dad said, “The sun has already got up but you’re still not fully awake. See.”

I said, “Oh……”

Dad said, “He got everything thrown up onto my mattress.”

I said, “Put the cover sheet into the washing machine then.”

Dad said, “If you’d moved fast enough, I wouldn’t have been in such a trouble.”

I said, “Hey, I was far but you were close. Tung Tung was facing your mattress instead of mine.”

Dad said, “That’s why so slowly you reacted.?”

I said, “You saw Pei Pei’s leash in my left hand and the door handle in my right hand, didn’t you?”

Dad said, “You was Tung Tung throwing up, didn’t you?”

I said, “Yes, I did. But meanwhile I saw something else!”

Dad said, “What’s it?”

I said, “I saw you lying on the bed. When Tung Tung was going to throw up right beside you, you would rather call me back than pick him up to the sandbox yourself.”

Dad said, “What a terrible nuisance you are.”

I said, “You deserve it. That’s it. Bye.”

Pulling the leash out to the corridor, I shut the door.

Another me said, “For some reason unknown did Tung Tung throw up. Is it true that the Lord is still keeping him?”

I said, “The world is polluted and virus-contaminated. It’s normal Tung Tung throws up. The Bible writes “The Lord keeps us….” Then, the Lord always keeps us. He’s keeping Tung Tung by placing a vet around us. Next time when we are back to the clinic for the ultrasound wave scan, we can ask the vet for another check.”

Another me said, “I’m so sorry for such bad happenings on Tung Tung. Actually, there were different happenings onto me. In some of them, the Lord kept me well while in some others He didn’t.

I said, “There is no happenings that the Lords will not keep us well, is there?”

Another me said, “If the Lord always does, why would there have been so many bad happenings onto me?”

I said, “Because there is sin in the world. It’s normal that we experience something bad. I myself had no dad beside me during my childhood.”

Another me said, “This sounds disgusting. You said this when you’ve already got your dad back home.”

I said, “Hey, if the Lord hadn’t kept me well, why would there have been a way out? He instead has kept me well and I paid effort and the price to follow Him. When He brought back my dad, I acted against the will of all those around me, moving back to my flat, covering the rent and opened the door to welcome my dad back.”

Another me said, “When something bad happens on you, the Lord keeps you; but when something bad happens on me, the Lord can’t see it.”

I said, “He always sees it, no matter if you believe it or not. But now I’ve just heard another thing that you cannot but believe it.”

Another me said, “What’s that?”

I said, “I just heard that your excessively long mourning for whatever bad that has happened on you. All these happenings concern you. Instead of owning them, you keep blaming the Lord for not keeping you well but never humbly ask the Lord for new directions, act upon His guidances and move out of your own traumas.”

Another me said, “Alas, what a trash Christian you are. You spare no sympathy for me!”

I said, “You deserve it. That’s it. Bye.”
