I said, “Alright. That’s all for today. See you next lesson.”

Student said, “Yip Sir.”

I said, “About the sentence structure that I’ve just mentioned, any question?

Student said, “Not about the sentence structure.”

I said, “What is your question?”

Student said, “My question is, will you take injection?”

I said, “Not yet.”

Student said, “Why?”

I said, “I won’t consider it until more information is announced. Who can take and who can’t take, there is very little information.”

Student said, “I don’t know whether to take it or not?”

I said, “You aren’t small. You aren’t that healthy. And your blood pressure seems quite high.”

Student said, “Yes, indeed. But many of my colleagues have taken it.”

I said, “Is there anything to do with you? Are your colleagues as old as you are, and sharing similar health condition as you do.”

Student said, “My colleagues are younger and healthier.”

I said, “See?”

Dad said, “Don’t be scared. There’s nothing to be scared of.”

I said, “Why?”

Dad said, “Nothing scary will happen. Just follow your colleagues and take it.”

I said, “You’ve taken it?”

Dad said, “Not yet.”

I said, “I want you to repeat what you’ve said.”

Dad said, “Why do you want me to repeat?”

I said, “I want to make a recording.”

Dad said, “To record what?”

I said, “I want to send a Whatsapp recording to her elder sister, telling her that my dad persuade, at will, my student, her younger sister to do what he himself does not do.”

Dad said, “I’m not talking to you. You’re crazy.”

Dad returned to his room.

Another me said, “Believe in Jesus and you’ll get eternal life.”

I said, “Believe Jesus?”

Another me said, “That’s to accept Jesus to be your personal Lord and Saviour.”

I said, “How to accept? By reading the scriptures to pronounce my commitment?”

Another me said, “Just by reading? You think Jesus is the god Aladdin in the magic lamp? God is the Lord. The Lord isn’t anybody else but the one that we follow.”

I said, “How to follow?”

Another me said, “The way is very simple - by giving up everything you have.”

I said, “How do you know the way?”

Another me said, “By reading the Bible - Luke 14:33.”

I said, “What is the meaning of ‘giving up all you have’?”

Another me said, “This means God Number one - None is more important than God.”

I said, “How do you know it?”

Another me said, “I learnt it during the Bible studies and sermons on Sundays.”

I said, “Have you given up everything you have to follow Jesus?”

Another me said, “Not yet.”

I said, “I want you to repeat what you’ve said.”

Another me said, “Why do you want me to repeat?”

I said, “I want to make a recording.”

Another me said, “To record what?”

I said, “To remind me that Jesus is the one that you don’t follow in trust but hand Him over to me at will.”
