Give answer and speak your mind.

I said, “Conditionals type 3, which tense should be used in the adverb clause?”

Student said, “……”

I said, “Subjunctive Past Perfect.”

Student said, “……”

I said, “How about the main clause?”

Student said, “……”

I said, “Subjunctive Future Perfect.”

Student said, “……”

I said, “Do you remember why these two tenses should be used?”

Student said, “……”

I said, “When should the past perfect be used?”

Student said, “……”

I said, “When should the future perfect be used?”

Student said, “……”

I said, “Class’s dismissed.”

Student said, “What? Class’s dismissed?”

I said, “Now that you’ve got nothing to say. Why should we stay?”

Student said, “Well because……”

I said, “You can still talk. I’ve just suspected you as dumb.”

Student said, “Ha……” (In embarrassment)

I said, “Why did you give me no answer?”

Student said, “I don’t know the answer.”

I said, “Why didn’t you tell me, you don’t know the answer?”

Student said, “I’m afraid of making mistakes.”

I said, “Why didn’t you tell me, you’re afraid of making mistakes?”

Student said, “I don’t know what to say.”

I said, “Why didn’t you tell me, you don’t know what to say?”

Student said, “I haven’t thought about it.”

I said, “Let’s think about it now.”

Student said, “If I can’t think of anything to say, so?”

I said, “So class’s dismissed. If you come up with anything new, tell me next lesson.”

…….

Another me said, “You don’t have to leave, so fast?”

I said, “Well, why should I stay here, with nothing to talk about? Is it a prison here?”

Another me said, “The Lord’s much more patient. He never leaves me. Even though I say nothing in my prayers, He knows all that I want.”

I said, “But the Lord’s told us to tell Him everything in prayers.”

Another me said, “But I don’t really know what to say.”

I said, “Then, I go, bye.”

Another me said, “You go, bye? How does the Lord teach you? He teaches you to your neighbors!”

I said, “I know.”

Another me said, “You know but you go.”

I said, “Hey, you don’t answer and say anything. Then, only the Lord knows what you want. I don’t know. Why don’t I go?”

Another me said, “You go? The Lord’s arranged you to be my neighbor because He wants you to help me.”

I said, “I know. The Lord does ask me to help you, but He never asks me to guess what you want.”

Another me said, “So what do you want now?”

I said, “I want to go. Call me when you’ve got something say.”
