“To your real-life worries, where will the Lord provide relief❓”

The hidden.

15/03/2023 (Wed) Midnight

I saw a street vendor waving his hands and gazing at me.

Vendor said, “Come over.”

I said, “OK.”

Vendor said, “Take a seat.”

I said, “Oh.”

I sat down.

Vendor said, “Are you tired?”

I said, “Yes, I am.”

Vendor said, “Why?”

I said, “I’m working for 7 days a week. I really want the break in May to come.”

Vendor said, “Not even one day of rest?”

I said, “No.”

Vendor said, “Why?”

I said, “Make money in preparation for the full-time composition studies.”

Vendor said, “So how is the preparation of your composition recital?”

I said, “Not efficient.”

Vendor said, “Why?

I said, “I’ve done whatever I can do. Composition, Invitations, room reservation, transportation fee. In the end, whether the instrumentalists will show up or not, I have no control.”

Vendor said, “So the practice discipline is unsatisfactory.”

I said, “Not that bad, but not good either.”

Vendor said, “How is the alumni ensemble group?”

I said, “I’ve done whatever I can do, like composition, arrangement, document drafts, Establishment of WhatsApp community, negotiation with the school and invitations to schoolmates. In the end, whether the group can work, I have no control.”

Vendor said, “How are you admission tests in HKAPA?”

I said, “Listening test, harmony test, composition test and auditions, I’ve made the most preparations. Now I’ve gone through the first two. In the end, whether I will be admitted or not, I have no control.”

Vendor said, “Among the many things you have done, none do you have any control. Are you worried?”

I said, “There is little use being worried. Just hand them all over to the Lord.”

Vendor said, “I’m not asking if there is any use in being worried.”

I said, “What?”

Vendor said, “I’m asking you if you’re worried.”

My tears dropped.

I said, “Yes, I’m worried.”

Vendor said, “Now, hand me all your worries.”

I wanted to see clearly the vendor’s face. I opened my eye only to find that the room was very dark and left at the brim my eyes was half a drop of tears.
