“In urgent need for help, what to do❓”
Speak and move.

After dinner with my family, I packed my things and opened the door.
Mum said, “Where are you going?”
I said, “Band Room.”
Mum said, “For music again?”
I said, “Of course.”
Mum said, “Hold on.”。
Mum entered the room and came out with a letter.
I said, “What’s up?”
Mum said, “Help me to apply for the credit card before you leave.
I said, “No.”
Mum said, “Why?”
I said, “I’m busy, in a hurry.”
Mum said, “Does it take you long to apply for a credit card for me?”
I said, “Not at all. But I won’t offer help tonight.”
Mum said, “Why? I did tell you I wanted to apply for a credit card.”
I said, “This year, whenever I was back home for dinner, I left immediately after for band room. Though I was already back by 6pm today, you kept surfing Youtube until now. You made no move and took no action until I started moving.
Mum said, “……”
I said, “It doesn’t matter. I’m leaving now. I’ll help you next time. That’s it. Bye.”
I stepped out and closed the door.
……
Another me said, “Mum, will you help?”
I said, “No doubt, I’ll help.”
Another me said, “Then, why did you leave right away?”
I said, “I said I was busy and in a hurry. Didn’t you hear what I said? I’ll help next time.”
Another me said, “Not only are you going in urgency for music, but Mum was coming in urgency for the credit card as well.”
I said, “So late did she take the letter out. Is it really urgent?”
……
Another me said, “I’m the Lord’s child. If I have a need, He will help me, won’t He?”
I said, “Sure, He will.”
Another me said, “Why don’t I see the Lord help even after I asked Him in prayers?”
I said, “How come?”
Another me said, “He won’t be too busy, and in such a rush that he’s left, right?”
I said, “No, He won’t.”
Another me said, “He’s no problem in multi-tasking. He’s across time. He should be able to help me anytime, right?”
I said, “Yes.”
Another me said, “If it’d been true, why wouldn’t He have helped me even after my prayers. It’s urgent.”
I said, “For what?”
Another me said, “I’ve voice my request already. Isn’t it urgent enough?”
I said, “It doesn’t look that urgent. I don’t see you’ve made any move and do anything.”
Another me said, “Excuse me, what to do?”
I said, “Do whatever the Lord asks you to! You want Him to help you or to help do everything for you, even your own part.”
