“If I can’t clearly tell my testimony, what to do❓”

The Lord may ask me to, write.

After the Bible Study on Zoom

Another me said, “You guys have had a discussion quite fierce at the end of the bible study.”

I said, “Yes. The topic is - is it impossible for us to change the Lord’s will with our prayers?”

Another me said, “You said ‘No, it isn’t’ at a voice loud enough.”

I said,  “Does it sound persuasive?”

Another me said, “No, other than the three words ‘No, it isn’t’, I can’t tell what you are talking about. They don’t make meaning to me at all.”

I said, “Really? Even you can’t tell what I mean. What can my group members get?”

Another me said, “You know it.”

I said, “I can do nothing if they get nothing. I’ve already tried my best.”

Another me said, “No, you haven’t.”

I said, “The class has ended. What else’s can I do?”

Another me said, “Re-organise what you want to say. Once another chance comes, retell it clearly.”

I said, “Alas, it takes time and efforts to do so.”

Another me said, “Have you done your talking?”

I said, “What’s up?”

Another me said, “If it’s done, start working.”

I had a lunch gathering with my church-mate.

I said, “I want to ask you a question.”

Church-mate said, “OK.”

I said, “Can we change the Lord’s will with our prayers?”

Church-mate said, “No”.

I said, “Why?”

Church-mate elaborated.

I said, “I shared the same view.”

Church-mate said, “I see.”

I said, “Actually, last week I tried to explain it during the bible study. But I just made a mess. I’ve re-organised my experience two days ago. I’d like to share with you to see if you understand it, shall I?”

Church-mate said, “OK.”

According to what I organised, I retold why I believed we could not change the Lord’s will with our prayers”.

Church-mate said, “Good. You may consider writing a testimony with what you’ve organised.”

I said, “Good idea! Do it a little later. Time’s up. I’m heading for the Applied Music class in school.”

A church mate sent me a message.

Church-mate said, “If possible, I’d to read your testimony.”

I said, “Sure! And thanks for your encouragement. I’ll share it once it’s done.”

Church-mate said, “Thank you.”

I finished my classes and went shopping. Prepare to attend the concert of “Music Appreciation: Meeting with Composers”

Another me said, “Have you finished shopping?”

I said, “Yes”

Another me said, “Go straight to the Cultural Centre.”

I said, “Why such a rush? Still an hour and a half left. I’m going to Tom Lee Music to get something with my consumption voucher.”

Another me said, “You’ve got in your band room so many books that you haven’t even flipped open the first page. Read them through before you get any new ones. Now, go straight to the Cultural Centre.”

I said, “Why do you keep rushing me to the Cultural Centre?”

Another me said, “Sit down and write your testimony. The Lord has already passed you two reminders through the church mate.”

I said, “Alas, alright when I’m free.”

Another me said, “How long are you going to procrastinate? You’re free right now. Go. Write it! It may be of use in the discussion tonight.”

I said, “To be used tonight?”

Another me said, “Maggie said on Thursday that tonight’s bible study is rather simple, so she’ll spend some time to carry on with last week’s discussion “Can we change the Lord’s will with our prayers?” When the chance comes, take it and make clarifications.”

I said, “I can simply talk about it. Let’s write the testimony later.”

Another me said, “Last time you’ve already made a mess. Are you sure you can make clarifications in just a few minutes?”

I said, “Not really.”

Another me said, “If not, you’d better write it down. Go straight to the cultural centre and write it!”

After writing the testimony, from my back came a voice.

A voice said, “Yip Wai Hung”

I turned back.

I said, “Director.”

The announcement said, “The concert is about to begin. Please switch off you mobile phone.”
