Another me said, “Make recordings.”

I said, “Of what?”

Another me said, “Of your piano recital.”

I said, “Why do you ask for a recording of my piano trial performance?”

Another me said, “The student recital is drawing near. A recording of your piano trial performance can tell where exactly you need fine-tuning. A video exposes what is hidden.”

I said, “A little later. There’s still a month before the student recital.”

Another me said, “Now! Make a recording and send it to the director. There’s only a month left before the student recital.”

I made a recording of my performance of L’Adieu by Burgmuller.

I said, “Done.”

Another me said, “Send it to the director.”

I said, “Already sent. Dinner time.”

I woke up.

Another me said, “Hey.”

I said, “Good morning.”

Another me said, “Send the recording that you made yesterday to the “Maggie moves on to Jesus” WhatsApp Group, and give a few encouraging words.”

I said, “Crazy! So many people there.”

Another me said, “What’s the matter?”

I said, “I play so badly now. I’ll look really bad if so many see how badly I play.”

Another me said, “Why do you care so much about how you look?”

I said, “Who else should I care for more than myself?”

Another me said, “The Lord.”

I said, “There is nothing to do with the Lord in whether I send the video to the group or not.”

Another me said, “Send the video to the group, show the members how far you have gone with the Lord in your piano practice and testify the unlimited support he gives along the way.”

I said, “Later.”

Another me said, “How late?”

I said, “After the student recital.”

Another me said, “Now.”

I said, “Why now?”

Another me said, “It is the Easter today, a good chance to encourage others to face their challenges together with the Lord.”

I said, “Later.”

Another me said, “Now! Send it now and the Lord will be pleased.”

I said, “How do you know?”

Another me said, “When Jesus called the fishermen to follow Him, it is immediate, not some time after the student recital.”

I said, “But now I’m just half way through my practices, really looking bad.”

Another me said, “Fine. Your half-way performance, the Lord is still happy to accept.”

I said, “How do you know?”

Another me said, “He can accept even the sinners, who look the worst, let alone your piano performance, which certainly looks a little better than sinners.”

I said, “The Lord accepts but how about the members?”

Another me said, “They’ll accept if they like it. They’ll reject it if they don’t like it. Anything to do with you?”

I said, “If they don’t like it and reject it, I’ll look really really bad.”

Another me said, “Hey, you said you have committed your whole life to the Lord, didn’t you? It now seems to me that you haven’t yet handed over to him even how you look in front of others.”

I said, “I send it now.”

Another me said, “Add a few words of encouragement.”

I said, “This is a recording of my first trial piano performance in preparation for the student recital after a year of my daily practices with the Lord. I wish all of you will remember that the Lord always support you along your different challenges in your life.”
