Great, because I can move forward with the Lord.

An email arrived at my mailbox.

Another me said, “Email.”

I said, “I have emails every day.”

Another me said, “This email isn’t promoting credit cards to you.”

I said, “So what is it about?”

Another me said, “It seems to be from Trinity College.”

I said, “Music Theory Diploma Examination of Trinity College of Music?”

Another me said, “Yes, why haven’t you opened the mailbox?”

I said, “Do it now.”

I opened my mailbox and found THKMC (Trinity Hong Kong Music Centre) Theory of Music Exam Result Slips.”

Another me said, “At the bottom is a pdf file attached. Click it open.”

I said, “OK.”

I opened the PDF file.

Another me said, “What is that?”

I said, “Exam Result Slip.”

Another me said, “Marks, please.”

I said, “There are altogether 4 marks.”

Another me said, “Tell me. The 1st one?”

I said, “Techniques, 18/30."

Another me said, “The second one?"

I said, “Communication, 19/30.”

Another me said, “The third one?

I said, “Musical & Stylistic Awareness, 18/30.”

Another me said, “The 4th one?”

I said, “Integration, 05/10.”

Another me said, “Total?”

I said, “60/100.”

Another me said, “Passing mark?”

I said, “60, a pass; 80, a distinction."

Another me said, “So you’ve just secured a bare pass?”

I said, “Exactly, great!"

Another me said, “Great. Really?

I said, “Yes, great!”

Another me said, “Ridiculous, do you know you are far from a distinction?”

I said, “I know I’ve got some rooms for improvement.

Another me said, “You know it. Still great?

I said, “Great! The Lord’s now helped me through the Music Theory Diploma Examination of Trinity College of Music. He’s granted the allowance to move ahead to the next goal to me, who have not started heading from a translation graduate to an amateur music student since early thirties. Isn’t it great?”

Another me said, “……”

I said, “Let's set off.”
