“How to encourage your neighbour to show love to another❓”

Remove the envy within me by accepting the Lord’s Love so that my neighbour can show love to another with no barrier.

My student took leave.

Mum said, “Your student took leave?”

I said, “Yes.”

Mum said, “Let’s the mushroom rice in KFC.”

I said, “Ready? I’ve got another student at 3pm.”

Mum said, “Let’s go.”

After my lunch order in the self-ordering machine, I took a seat.

Mum said, “Do you know your dad got before?”

I said, “No, I don’t.”

Mum said, “Do you know for whom he got mad?”

I said, “No, I don’t. For you?”

Mum said, “For you.”

I said, “For me? No kidding.”

Mum said, “I’m serious.”

I said, “Wow, I don’t know.”

Mum said, “How could you have known it? You stay outside all the time. Now he’s getting mad not in front of you, but me.”

I said, “For what?”

Mum said, “When your sister’s back, I cooked her some soup.”

I said, “Hey, it’s been quite a while you did that for her. Why was he getting mad so late?”

Mum said, “Last time when your sister was drinking the soup, Fung was sitting beside and I asked him to have a try.”

I said, “And then?”

Mum said, “He said it tasted really good. And so I asked him if he wanted me to cook him a bowl of soup the next time he came over. You’re here when I made the invitation.”

I said, “Oh, really? What was his reply?”

Mum said, “He said yes. The next time Fung came over, I made him the soup.”

I said, “And then?”

Mum said, “A few times later, you dad got mad.”

I said, “About what?”

Mum said, “About the soup I made for Fung. He asked me what else was left for my son.”

I said, “Oh my dad, he cares about me? It’s just unbelievable! As far as I remember, he left home without saying a word, nowhere to be seen for over 10 years. What’s caused such a change?”

Mum said, “Since you found him a cure to his facial paralysis, he has been mad for you.”

I said, “That’s it. Not only did I encourage him to see the doctor, but I covered all the medical fee as well. But frankly, it’s the Lord that introduced him an acupuncture physician through my church friends.”

Mum said, “He even blamed me for leaving you somewhere attended and caring more about Fung.”

I said, “How did you respond?”

Mum said, “I said my son is generous. He wouldn’t mind I cared more about Fung.”

I said, “I said nothing. Who told you I didn’t care?”

Mum said, “I could tell from your reactions, which were so natural. When I asked Fung if the soup tasted good, you didn’t appear unhappy; When I even made him the soup, you didn’t either. You just look so enjoyable when you go for the music.”

I said, “Ah, the music life that the Lord guides me through is just enjoyable enough, so much that I don’t find a need for envy. Isn’t it quite good for you to show more care to Fung?”

Mum said, “So I’ve just ignored your dad and made Fung the soup.”

I said, “You’d still made him the soup, and dad god mad. How did you respond?”

Mum said, “I told him, my son doesn’t mind I care more about Fung. Then, I even left him one more sentence.”

I said, “What is it?”

Mum said, “My son is different from you!”

I said, “Haha, exactly! I’m just different from him. One big difference between us is that I trust God and I’m filled with His love. I support you. Go ahead and show more care for them. Make them some more soup.”
