Senior schoolmate said, “Dinner?”

I said, “Now?”

Schoolmate said, “Yes.”

I said, “I’m now going for dinner. After that, I’ll be back for choir.”

Schoolmate said, “Dine at Tsz Wan Shan?”

I said, “Yes.”

Schoolmate said, “Get some good first. I’ll call you when I arrive.”

I said, “OK.”

Waiter said, “Food?”

I said, “Dinner set B.”

10 minutes later, schoolmate arrived.

Waiter said, “Food?”

Schoolmate said, “Dinner set B.”

Waiter said, “Drinks?”

Schoolmate said, “Hot lemon water.”

We exchanged our music learning experience.

Schoolmate said, “Hey, you’re late.”

I searched over my backpack.

Schoolmate said, “So?”

I said, “So I’ve brought with myself no money.”

Schoolmate said, “What? You brought no money? How can you travel around with no wallet?”

I said, “I haven’t used any wallet for a long time. As far as I remember, it is at least 7 times that I’ve lost my wallet. So now instead of using a wallet, now ID card in my backpack, money clipped in a bunch. But I just happened to leave it home.”

I said, “I don’t know.”

Another me said, “You know nothing. But the Lord knows the best you are just careless. Do you know this?”

I said, “I know this. I believe the Lord created me. If he had not been aware of carelessness, how would He have sent my schoolmate to settle the bill for me?”

Another me said, “I see. In other words, if the Lord hadn’t sent the your schoolmate to settle the bill for you, you’d have considered that He knows nothing about you.”

I said, “Wrong! I say I believe the Lord created me. He’s if no doubt, knows me the best. If he hadn’t sent my schoolmate to help settle the bill, I think, perhaps it’s time to give me a lesson.”

Another me said, “You sound so confident now that the bill has been settled. If the Lord hadn’t sent you the schoolmate, I am afraid you’d end up in a terrible situation.”
