I rang the bell and the academic coordinator opened the door.

She said, “So late?”

I said, “I’ve lost my phone.”

She said, “I guess so.”

I said, “You guess so?”

She said, “You’re still answering me on WhatsApp around 09:00. But you gave no answer since 10:00.”

I said, “Oh my…I’ve got all my reflections there, as many as over 600. They’re all lost.”

She made a call but no one answered.

She said, “I could get through. If it had been stolen, I shouldn’t have been able to get through.”

I said, “Ah, positioning.”

She said, “Positioning?”

I said, “My classmate’s helped me set up a positioning system that can trace my smartphone.”

I borrowed her phone and called my classmate.

I said, “I’ve just lost my smartphone on bus 3D. It’s once connected to my AirPod but not the moment I got off. I’m not sure if it was stolen or dropped. You’ve helped me set up a positioning system, right? Can you help check it out?”

Classmate said, “OK. It’s now in Tsz Wan Shan bus station. Now it’s moving to Genki Sushi in the Tsz Wan Shan Plaza.”

I said, “My phone’s hot no legs. How could it move? It’s stolen, no doubt.”

She said, “Which model is your smartphone?”

I said, “I-phone 11.”

She said, “It’s already I-phone 14. Yours is so old. Nobody will steal it.”

I said, “But it’s moving!”

She said, “Maybe it is just picked up by somebody kind.”

I said, “So kind that no answer is given to your call?”

She said, “Is your smartphone set in ringtone mode or vibration?”

I said, “Vibration.”

She said, “Maybe it can’t be heard.”

I said, “Gone. My 600 something is gone.”

She said, “Any back-up?”

I said, “Not sure.”

She said, “Play the piano then.”

I said, “What? Play the piano?”

She said, “What else can you do? Even if you dash to Genki Sushi right now, your smartphone may probably have gone somewhere else. Even if it stays, you can tell who is keeping it. Are you going to search each of them? Play.”

I said, “Play.”

I played for a while.”

She said, “Hi, good morning.”

She said, “I’m a friend of the smartphone owner.”

She said, “I want to know how he can have his smartphone back.”

She said, “OK, alright.”

She said, “Get it back by 12:00 at the Tsz Wan Shan bus terminal.”

She hung up.

She said, “Class dismissed.”

I said, “Thank you very much.”

She said, “Go.”

Another me said, “I perceived your weekly reflections should have come to an end here.”

I said, “No necessarily. I’d have lost only the previous ones. Now that the Lord has long been resurrected. He lives forever. As long as I’m still alive, I can write something new about us.”

Another me said, “At least a pause for a certain period of time?”

I said, “That’s inevitable.”

Another me said, “How did the Lord find it out for you?”

I said, “He called the academic coordinator, a classmate and a kind man to help.”

Another me said, “The Lord called the academic coordinator, a classmate and a kind man, three persons altogether to help to find out your smartphone and retrieve your lost testimonies. It’s apparent that it’s His will to stay your weekly reflections for a little longer.” 

I said, “Get it. Here I share it.”
