“Will your take the Lord as a shame in your heart❓”
If not, why not proclaim the Lord to people around?

I said, “OK. That’s all. See you next lesson.”
Student said, “Thanks, Yip sir.”
I said, “Mum, do you know where the insect repellent is?”
Mum said, “On the second row of the shelf beside the TV.”
I took the insect repellent and sprayed it over my body.
Student said, “Yip sir, why do you apply the repellent?”
I said, “I’m going back to music school. There are so many mosquitos around.”
Student said, “Where is the school?”
I said, “Somewhere around Tsz Wan Shan.”
Student said, “A lot of mosquitos in Tsz Wan Shan?”
I said, “It’s on the hill. There are flowers and grasses. And it’s raining today.”
Student said, “Ah.”
I said, “That’s it. Let’s go.”
…..
Mum said, “Wait, are you learning music from a private teacher?”
I said, “Yes, I was.”
Mum said, “Not now?”
I said, “Not now.”
Mum said, “Why not? Is the teacher not teaching well?”
I said, “The teacher is teaching very well. He studies composition. He taught me mostly harmony. I want to learn music in a more comprehensive way.”
Mum said, “But it doesn’t mean you have to go to music school?”
I said, “Yes, it does.”
Mum said, “Why?”
I said, “Because God brought me there.”
Mum said, “What? Jesus got you there?”
I said, “What is so strange to you? I told you before the term start last October. You just got too focused on stating to me your disapproval to hear what I told you.”
Mum said, “So you can teach music later, right?”
I said, “This is the first year I started my music studies - the Higher Certificate. Let’s talk about it if I can graduate.”
Mum said, “Right. In case you can graduate, will you teach music?”
I said, “I don’t know. Let’s seek God’s will about it by then.”
Mum said, “Why is it concerned with Jesus?”
I said, “I study music, always for Jesus. That’s it.”
I left with my students.
……
Another me said, “You know you’re a teacher?”
I said, “Yes, I do.”
Another me said, “You know you’re teaching in universities?”
I said, “Yes, I do.”
Another me said, “You know your students are still here?”
I said, “Yes, I do.”
Another me said, “Then why did you openly say that Jesus brought you to the music school?”
I said, “This’s what has happened.”
Another me said, “And even say that you get to ask Jesus whether or not to teach music after graduation?”
I said, “This’s what I am going to do.”
Another me said, “How will you mum see you?”
I said, “My mum sees me every day. Why bother? Haven’t we seen each other enough?”
Another me said, “Fine if you don’t want to bother. But how about your students? How will they see you?”
I said, “They said nothing. I had no idea.”
Another me said, “It doesn’t mean they have no comments though they have said nothing. They may see you as mad.”
I said, “Why bother with something trivial?”
Another me said, “Something trivial? It’s about your professional image!”
I said, “What are you worried about? Are you worried Jesus will ruin my professional image? You take Jesus as a shame, don’t you?”
