“Who will seriously walk me towards the goal I set❓”

I will; If it’s His will, He’ll get more serious than anyone else.
……..

03/05/2024 (Fri) 1200 Agape Christian Church

I took an invitation to visit an ensemble practices of a group of physically handicapped Christians.

After the practice, I had a short meeting with the person-in-charge.

She said, “They’re going to give a public performance on September 8th.”

I said, “A performance of the pieces they’ve just played?”

She said, “To be decided. Probably a few of them.”

I said, “But they don’t sound well.”

She said, “That’s why I invited you here.”

I said, “For orchestration?”

She said, “Bingo. Any idea?”

I said, “Um……yes. But they have different degrees of limitations.

She said, “OK. If you’ve orchestrated it, I’ll ask them to try.”

I said, “Can you find other musicians to join?”

She said, “Welcome.”

I said, “OK. I’ll start orchestrating after my homework.”

She said, “Good.”
…….

Another me said, “Nobody comes over without a problem to solve.”

I said, “Don’t sound that they reap all the benefits. I also gain a chance to examine my orchestration ability.”

Another me said, “But you’re already in HKAPA. You still do something like that?”

I said, “What do you mean? What’s wrong with something like that?”

Another me said, “I don’t know what the Lord is doing.”

I said, “You seem to be getting forgetful.”

Another me said, “It’s you that is getting forgetful. As soon as someone asks you for orchestration, you don’t even screen the job well before accepting it.”

I said, “Do you remember, it is I myself that said I want to be an all-round composer.”

Another me said, “What all-round composer?”

I said, “An all-round composer is one who can compose and orchestrate music that can meet the different needs in different situations.”

Another me said, “When did you say something like that?”

I said, “I said that on Nov 26 2023, my composition recital day in HKIIM.”

Another me said, “Hey, it’s now May 2024 already. Half a year has passed. This has turned a historical document. Who will still be so stupid to work it out?”

I said, “I’m the one. Do you mean I am stupid?”

Another me said, “I don’t mean that. If I did, would I mean that I’m stupid too?”

I said, “So you don’t mean I’m stupid. Do you mean it is the Lord?”

Another me said, “How dare I comment the Lord as stupid? I am not stupid! But the Lord is acting little too serious to what you said, isn’t He?”

I said, “You neither mean I’m stupid to act on my goals, nor the Lord is stupid to offer chances for me to act on my goals. Now I know who you think is stupid.”

Another me said, “Who do you think is stupid? Even I myself don’t even know.”

I said, “You. You yourself set goals. When the Lord offered you a chance to realise them, you didn’t act on them seriously. You ruined your own business. Stupid, right?”

Another me said, “Stop. It isn’t I but you that set goals. I haven’t and I won’t set any goals. As long as I don’t set goals, I neither have to work anything out nor ask the Lord for chances.”

I said, “Stupid! You don’t set goals. You don’t work anything out. What are you doing here every day?”
