Composition Project Tutorials.

Teacher said, “Your writing on harp, you’d better check it out.”

I said, “I did it.”

Teacher said, “You did it according to the theory only. It’s no more than an approximation. Ask a harpist to take a look. It’ll be more accurate.”

I said, “But around me is no harpist.”

Teacher said, “Not even one?”

I said, “None.”

Teacher said, “Forget it.”

I was discussing with my classmate on the rehearsal arrangements for my composition recital.”

I said, “I definitely need a midi-keyboard.”

Student said, “Why?”

I said, “I’ve written 3 pieces. All of them require a midi-keyboard. Especially the 3rd one, I need it to generate the harp sound from the computer. I’ve got no harp.”

Student said, “Harp? My friend, who is sharing the band room with me, plays harp. But she’s probably too busy to play in the performance.”

I said, “What? Your friend plays harp?”

Student said, “Yes. But she’s probably too busy to play in the performance.”

I said, “It doesn’t matter. Can she have a glance at my harp writing and leave me some comments? This won’t take her a lot of time.”

Student said, “I can ask her if she can.”

I said, “Wonderful. Harpist, I got none but the Lord found me one. Thank Him so much.”

Student said, “Send me the scores.”

I said, “Here it is.”

I said, “I just lack faith. I got no harpist but why didn’t I ask the Lord?”

Another me said, “This is acceptable.”

I said, “Acceptable?”

Another me said, “You could see none besides you that plays harp so your reaction was acceptable and understandable.”

I said, “But my reaction was that I had never asked the Lord if He had got any harpist. How on earth could my reaction be acceptable and understandable?”

Another me said, “We believe there is nothing when we can see none. This is acceptable and understandable.”

I said, “Not acceptable nor understandable are you.”

Another me said, “How could say something like that to me? I’m helping you out! We don’t believe there is some if we see none.”

I said, “None? How about the harpist that the Lord’s just introduced to me through my classmate? Isn’t she counted?”

Another me said, “I didn’t know the Lord had got a harpist. So my reaction is acceptable and understandable.”

I said, “How dare you still call Him the Lord. You don’t trust Him. You believe only what you can see.”

Another me said, “No, I’m not who you describe I am. I do trust the Lord.”

I said, “Not acceptable nor understandable are you.”
