“The chance that the Lord’s prepared, how much do you desire❓”
The more one desires, the more proactively one seeks.

Another me said, “Hey, your new piece, when to perform?”
I said, “May 9th.”
Another me said, “Got all performers needed?”
I said, “Not yet.”
Another me said, “Not yet? There is only one month left. How couldn’t have found all you needed?”
I said, “I’ve actually found a violinist, a saxophonist and a vibraphonist.”
Another me said, “Who else do you lack?”
I said, “I lack a cellist, a conductor and a percussionist.”
Another me said, “What if you can’t find them in the end?”
I said, “My teacher said I should re-write my piece.”
Another me said, “But you’ve been writing since February.”
I said, “I feel really sick at re-writing it.”

The multimedia concert of the Composition Department ended.
Classmate said, “Are you looking for a cellist for your composition performance?
I said, “Yes.”
Classmate said, “Found?”
I said, “Not yet. I’m just very worried.”
Classmate said, “There is now one on the stage.”
I said, “What? But the performance’s just ended. How could I ask him now?”
Classmate said, “It’s much more difficult to find one on the phone.”
I said, “I don’t want to look mad.”
Classmate said, “Are you going to re-write your piece if you can’t find one?”
I said, “Why can’t I find one?
Classmate said, “Many cellists of the department of western instruments are occupied with the school musical on May 9th. Now that there comes a cellist from the department of western instruments, you aren’t asking.”
I said, “Hey, where is the cellist?”
Classmate said, “He’s left for the back stage.”
I left my seat for the backstage and stood in front of the cellist.
……
I said, “hi, this is Yip, BMus2, Composition.”
Cellist said, “Hi.”
I said, “I’d like to invite you to play my piece in the coming composition concert.”
Cellist said, “When?”
I said, “06:30p.m., May 9th.”
Cellist said, “Where?”
I said, “Concert Hall.”
Cellist said, “OK, no problem.”
……
Another me said, “You mad!”
I said, “I did nothing more than get straight and ask for help.”
Another me said, “You went straight up to the stage and blocked his way. You no longer has the manner a Christian should have.”
I said, “Christian manner? I’m about to rewrite my piece. I’m so sick of it. Manner?”
Another me said, “You Mad!”
I said, “The paralysed, who sought help from Jesus, went so far as to ask his friends to remove the roof and lay him down with the mad down right in front of Jesus. I didn’t stand in the way of the cellist until the end of the performance only to grasp the little half chance the Lord might have prepared for me. Isn’t my move proactive in a more moderate way?”
