My classmate and I had a zoom meeting about group composition.

Student said, “What’s on with the Hong Kong Palace Museum Project?”

I said, “The exhibit for which we’re composing a background music is a video.”

Student said, “Any idea?”

I said, “The video is changing. The best choice to synchronize the music with the video.”

Student said, “We don’t have the video clip.”

I said, “Video-tape the video.”

Student said, “You’ve got the permission?”

I said, “I don’t know. Let’s ask the Palace Museum.”

Student said, “Can you ask her on our own?”

I said, “Of course not. Let’s ask the department head if he can help forward our email to the Palace Museum.”

Student said, “Go ahead with what you said.”

I said, “Let’s fix a date and time before asking, shall we?”

Student said, “Yes, hold on. Let me ask my photographer friend what time he is available.”

I said, “Thank you.”

A few minutes later……

Student said, “August 8th, Thursday, 2p.m.”

I said, “Wonderful. Left me ask the department head in WhatsApp.”

Student said, “Great.”

I made a request for photography to the department head.

Department Head said, “Take a video of the exhibit? Of course not.”

I said, “Alright.”

Department Head said, “Why do you want to take a video of it?”

I said, “I want to make music that synchronizes with the video.”

Department Head said, “It isn’t allowed even though you’ve got a reason for it.”

I said, “OK.”

……

Another me said, “Ask the Lord in prayers.”

I said, “He’s already given an answer.”

Another me said, “An answer? I can’t hear.”

I said, “He answered NO.”

Another me said, “What?”

I said, “He answered NO.”

Another me said, “Nothing we can do but wait for His answer then.”

I said, “He answered NO. Come on. How come you act like this?”

Another me said, “What do I act like?”

I said, “You act like you don’t know what NO is.”

Another me said, “How do you know the Lord won’t say yes later?”

I said, “The Lord didn’t say NO forever, but He did say NO now.”

Another me said, “I’ll wait.”

I said, “I’ll try another way.”

Another me said, “What if the Lord says NO to the way you try.”

I said, “I can’t see the Lord will say NO against my tryout of another way. All I see now is that the Lord has answered a clear NO to the way you are on.”

Another me said, “You may probably end up wasting your time and effort in trying another way.”

I said, “I think it’s a better choice than getting entangled with you here, at least.”
