“A difficult trial, how to walk through❓”
Whatever possibilities the Lord makes available, try them out.

I said, “I get to complete this assignment today.”
Another me said, “What assignment?”
I said, “Music Technology.”
Another me said, “Submission deadline?”
I said, “28th, Sunday.”
Another me said, “Still 4 days left, no hurry.”
I said, “You don’t keep time.”
Another me said, “What? Have I counted anything wrongly? Thu, Fri, Sat and Sun, 4 days altogether.”
I said, “You made no mistakes in your counting but in your memory. I need to on Fri, Sat and Sun. Today is the whole-day off in a week.
Another me said, “You don’t work on Sat afternoons, do you?”
I said, “I’ve still a counterpoint exercise, a dance analysis and a composition of the second section of Chinese music to be done.”
Another me said, “Alas, you’ve got so much work but you’re moving so slow.”
I said, “Let’s stop here. I want to start working.”
I switched on the mixing software - Pro Tools.! P on
Another me said, “Why don’t you use Logic Pro X?”
I said, “APA requires the assignment to be done with Pro Tools.”
Another me said, “You know how to know Pro Tools?”
I said, “No, this is the first time I use it.”
Another me said, “Hey, how are you going to cut the audio track you’ve downloaded?”
I said, “I don’t know. I’m going to ask the consultant the Lord has prepared me.”
Another me said, “Who?”
I said, “YouTube.”
Another me said, “Wa, you’re looking for a needle in a haystack. How long does it take to cut your audio track?”
I switched on YouTube and did some searching. I watched several clips, followed the instructions and made attempts one after another.
I said, “Done. Next, divide the audio tracks into many.”
Another me said, “How? Ask YouTube again? How long?”
I did some searching on YouTube. I watched several clips, followed the instructions and made attempts one after another.
I said, “Done. Next, add effects.”
Another me said, “How many effects? How to add? Now that you’ve made so many tracks here, what are you going to do? Ask YouTube again? How long to add those effects?”
I did some searching on YouTube. I watched several clips, followed the instructions and made attempts one after another.
I said, “Done. Next, Pan.”
Another me said, “What is your pan? Saucepan? Is there any on sale on YouTube?”
I did some searching on YouTube. I watched several clips, followed the instructions and made attempts one after another.
I said, “Done. Next, fade-in and fade-out.”
Another me said, “What are you talking about? I’m so tired.”
I did some searching on YouTube. I watched several clips, followed the instructions and made attempts one after another.
I said, “Done. Next, bounce.”
Another me said, “Gone too far. I can see merely troubles. It isn’t something for human.”
I did some searching on YouTube. I watched several clips, followed the instructions and made attempts one after another.
I said, “Done. My 2-min Music Technology assignment is completed.”
Another me said, “This is life-consuming. It takes you more than 2 hours to complete a 2-min audio track.”
I said, “It is 3 hours and a half, to be accurate.”
Another me said, “The Lord’s fooling you around. It’s simply a trial too difficult.”
I said, “How difficult?”
Another me said, “It takes you 3 hours and a half to complete a 2-min audio track. The time you spent working on it is 105 times longer than how long the audio actually lasts. Gone too far.”
I said, “No, it’s you who has gone too far..”
Another me said, “I’ve gone too far? You mean I made wrong calculations?”
I said, “You made the calculations right. I mean you’ve gone far too lazy. The ways out of the trial the Lord gave could all be found in YouTube. You’ve attended classes. You’ve learnt the basic concepts. If you’d watched the videos and followed them one by one, you’d finally have found the answer.”
Another me said, “Not until the Sun went down.”
I said, “No. I found it before the Sun went down.”
Another me said, “No, my time shouldn’t be used this way.”
I said, “Your time? No, it isn’t yours! It is all the Lord lends you.”
Another me said, “Gone too far.”
I said, “Spend the time the Lord lends us on the trials He’s guided us to and experience the growth He prepared us there. We reap all the benefits. Have I ever gone too far? I think I’m just in the right place.”
Another me said, “Gone too far.”
I said, “Do you really mean you’ve gone far too lazy? The Lords knows that well enough. Let it go and just make more effort in the coming attempt.
