I said, “What to eat?”

Mum said, “Hot pot, and one more bowl of beef rice.”

I said, “OK.”

When I was back, I saw a lady stop by.

Lady said, “The dog looks so obedient. It doesn’t bark but is sitting quietly in the pet car.”

Mum said, “Yes.”

Lady said, “The cat also looks obedient. It’s sitting quietly in the chair too and you can enjoy the hot pot.”

Mum said, “Yes.”

The lady left with a smile.

I said, “Mum, when have you started thinking of buying a pet car?”

Mum said, “One day, your dad and I walked Pei Pei. I told him every time when Pei Pei passed any mall, she’d dash to the entrance. So I wanted to take her to APM, the mall nearby.”

I said, “Is a dog allowed in a mall?”

I said, “The Lord always asks His disciples to spread the gospel. He wants more to know Him.”

Another me said, “What if your reader doesn’t like what you share?”

I said, “I’m sharing about myself. Why would they hate it?”

Another me said, “The listener can catch something that the speaker doesn’t intend to. Possible?”

I said, “So I will either be ignored, or be blocked, and scolded face-to-face.”

Another me said, “Insulting, face-losing.”

I said, “I don’t have such a need to save my face as desperate as you.”

Another me said, “Do you believe the Lord cannot spread His gospel if I remain silent?”

I said, “No, the Lord can even create the world. How could He be not able to spread His gospel on his own?”

Another me said, “Yes, that’s it.”

I said, “What is it? Is there anything to do whether the Lord can share His gospel? Don’t try to fool anyone. Now the Lord is asking you to share the gospel for Him. He doesn’t limit how you do it but He simply asks you to do it.

Another me said, “No, I remain silent.I don’t want to lose face. I simply want to enjoy my time with the Lord.

I said, “Hardly, I believe, can the Lord enjoy being with such a self-pleasing guy as you, from whom his gospel can never go around.”
