Old lady said, “Pei Pei.”

Pei Pei was creeping to her feet while I was leaning against the fence and watching the pigeons.”

Old lady said, “You’re late today.”

I said, “Yes, I left home later than usual.”

Old lady said, “Why are you standing here? Don’t you work today?”

I said, “Yes, I do. But I can work at home today.”

Old lady said, “Where do you work?”

I said, “School.”

Old lady took a look at me, in white T-shirt, black shorts, yellow sandals, white masks, and in my hand a leash tied to a puppy.

Old lady said, “You’re a school janitor?”

I said, “No, I’m a teacher.”

Old lady said, “Wow, I can’t see.”

I said, “Haha, that’s why I am telling you.”

......

Another me said, “Jesus is King, the Saviour, I can’t see.”

I said, “Why?”

Another me said, “Where were Jesus born?”

I said, “In the manger.”

Another me said, “When was Jesus born?”

I said, “While fleeing.”

Another me said, “What did Jesus’s dad, Joseph, do?”

I said, “He’s a carpenter.”

Another me said, “Where did Jesus save the world?”

I said, “On the cross.”

Another me said, “The son born in a manger by a carpenter’s wife and nailed dead on the cross is King and the Saviour of the world?”

I said, “Yes.”

Another me said, “Who can tell?”

I said, “That’s why I am telling you in faith.”
