I left music school and took a bus back home. When I was about to get off, I took a look at my mobile phone. I found, in the JesusBakery Signal Group, s church sister sharing about the daughter of her primary school classmate suffering from serious illness, and asking for prayers and donations.

I got off at the Millennium City.

Another me said, “Give her some help, ok?”

I said, “Why?”

Another me said, “She is in critical condition.”

I said, “Get it.”

Another me said, “How?”

I said, “Prayers.”

Another me said, “Pray for what?”

I said, “For her to be healed in some treatment by God.”

Another me said, “The treatment costs a lot.”

I said, “So how would you like me to help?”

Another me said, “Give donation.”

I said, “Hey, I don’t know her.”

Another me said, “Can’t you make donations to someone you don’t know?”

I said, “What if it’s a scam? Who can tell she is really in the hospital?”

Another me said, “Didn’t your church sister just tell you she is the daughter of her primary school classmate?”

I said, “You make a point here. She’s the daughter of the primary school classmate of mt church sister, but not of mine.”

Another me said, “Fine, donate or not?”

I said, “It’s really late now.”

Another me said, “Let’s decide it on your feet. You’re now in the gas station. To your right is your home. To your left is the Ngau Tau Kok MTR Station.”

I said, “So you want me now to go to the MTR station?”

Another me said, “Exactly, there are several automated teller machines (ATM). Just 5 minutes walk.”

I said, “How much?”

Another me said, “$1,000.”

I turned left and walked to Ngau Tau Kok MTR Station. I got to the Hang Seng Bank ATM and made the donation.”

Another me said, “How do you feel?”

I said, “Quite good.”

Another me said, “Then tell the Signal Group what you did.”

I said, “Why? Isn’t it clearly said that when I give to someone in need, don’t let even my left hand know what my right hand is doing. But now, you tell me inform the whole Signal Group? Asking for what? For their applause?”

Another me said, “We always care about applause.”

I said, “If not, why on earth are you asking me to tell the Group that I’ve made $1,00 donation?”

Another me said, “To encourage them to respond at an appropriate time to the calls of the Holy Spirit in action.”
